Some students are scared of story writing. Mainly because they have no idea what to write and how to write.
As teachers we can guide them by helping them get used to some of the commonly used sentences in story writing.

For INTRODUCTION/BEGINNING OF A PARAGRAPH
Students can start off their writing by telling the TIME, something as simple as ‘Last week’ can get them started already , below are some other examples that you/your students can play around.
You can also talk about the weather of the day.
A little bit of ADJECTIVES to describe a place in their CONTENT.
This is for when an EVENT/CELEBRATION/ACTIVITY starts or ends (normally at the beginning and final part of a writing)
And last but not least, our nation’s favourite MORAL VALUES…
These are just some simple examples for you, feel free to go and add on the list. In fact , you can even get your students to build their own writing notes. Be creative. and let me know if it works all right for you?
